Delivery Manager

Salary: £70,000 to £80,000

Location: East Midlands - Hybrid (One day onsite)

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Delivery Manager looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Delivery Manager, accountable for the delivery of product releases across our IT platforms including Freedom (IT Platform), Client Portal, and Colleague Portal. This role is critical in enabling teams to deliver continuously and focus on what will be of greatest value to our clinics, clients, and the wider business.

Role Accountabilities

  • Coordination of Releases: Work with Product, Engineering, Testing, and IT Service teams to coordinate the delivery of releases to Freedom (IT Platform) and other IT applications.
  • Team Management: Direct line management for a selection of delivery team roles, supporting team collaboration, communication, and focus on main objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across the business, including operations, marketing, and finance, to coordinate software releases.
  • Issue Resolution: Support teams by unblocking issues, ensuring all tracking and reporting is completed, and managing dependencies of varying complexity.
  • Risk Management: Remove blockers, manage risks, and proactively feed into larger programmes and portfolios.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate changes to clinics and other colleagues across the business.
  • Training Coordination: Collaborate with L&D and Freedom Training team to ensure training material is updated and stakeholders are aware of changes.
  • Governance: Define and establish governance principles and processes to enable teams to deliver effectively.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Manager within the IT/Digital field or a similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Strong team collaboration skills with the gravitas to coordinate effectively.
  • Understanding of relevant IT applications/products.
  • Helpful, but not essential: software development/IT skills (training can be provided).
