Our client, a leading company in the transportation industry, is seeking a Station Access Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing Station Access contracts and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. ?? Responsibilities:
- Predict and deliver Station Qualifying Expenditure, maximising income as a Station Facility Owner and minimising expenditure as a Beneficiary.
- Manage the budget for Long Term Charge and First Reserved Rent.
- Act as the lead negotiator for Control Period Changes, challenging costs and uncovering efficiencies at the railway network owner Managed Stations.
- Build effective relationships with the railway network owner to overcome contractual challenges and ensure a smooth contract management process.
- Evaluate and recover costs from Change proposals, protecting the organisation operationally and commercially.
- Lead on disputes associated with the National Station Access Conditions, including mediation, adjudication, and arbitration.
- Provide effective line management to the Assistant Station Access Contracts Manager, ensuring positive outcomes.
?? Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Specialist knowledge in rail regulation, specifically the National Station Access Conditions and Franchise Letting Conditions.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
- Understanding of key regulatory and funding relationships in the UK rail industry.
- Highly developed specialist knowledge of station access regulated contractual provisions.
- Financial acumen with a proven track record of successful financial recovery from railway network owner.
- Experience working with Station Access Regulations and railway network owner contractual team.
- Experience with contract management software.
