Part time Purchase Ledger

Our client located in Lewes is looking for a part time Purchase ledger Clark to support the finance team 3 days per week.

The Finance team pride themselves on there supportive work environment so any temp joining the business will feel part of the team from the outset.

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring that all purchase ledger transactions are accurately recorded and processed. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to balance work with other commitments while being part of a friendly and professional team.

Key Duties of the role:

  • Inputting purchase invoices to the finance system.
  • Matching invoices to POs and ensuring they have been correctly coded and approved.
  • Reconciling supplier statements, filing invoices (to server) and resolving supplier queries.
  • Processing expenses and credit card payments.

Ideally the candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years previous experience in the role (or similar role).
  • Be hard working, organised and with a strong attention to detail (essential).
  • Excellent communication and able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
