**About the Role:
As a Land Buyer, you'll be at the heart of identifying and acquiring prime development opportunities across Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex. You'll work closely with land agents and promoters to find the best sites and manage the entire bid process, making your mark on exciting new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spot Opportunities: Identify and secure residential and mixed-use development sites.
- Build Relationships: Develop connections with land agents and key stakeholders.
- Manage the Process: Lead the end-to-end bid process and ensure smooth transitions.
- Legal & Compliance: Assist in the legal process for land purchases, reviewing contracts, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Stay Ahead: Conduct appraisals, update the land tracker, and keep informed of regional market trends.
**What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience in land acquisition, ideally with a private developer.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of planning systems, procedures, and regional markets.
- Skills: Highly organised with excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving License (essential): As travel to development sites is required.
