Are you a passionate Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Scientist ready to innovate and make an impact? Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is looking for a dynamic Scientist/Project Leader to join our Product Development team at our East Leake site in Loughborough.
This full-time position offers a flexible work schedule (Mon-Fri, 36.25 hours/week) and some required travel.

- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. Help us uphold our reputation for delivering walls with exceptional fire performance, acoustic, and thermal properties.
What You'll Do:
- Technical Leadership: Manage and support business projects, ensuring the successful implementation of new and existing systems.
- Product Development: Participate in the physical assembly and testing of innovative products.
- Customer Support: Offer expert advice and solutions to customers, ensuring all materials and systems meet required standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside diverse teams, contributing to continuous improvement and high standards of performance.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Background: A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.
- Experience with New Product Development- This is ideal but not mandatory
- Preferred Experience: Experience with thermal, acoustic, and fire properties of materials is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to innovation.
