Global Accounting Network are partnering with an international e-commerce platform who are looking to hire an interim Revenue Recognition Consultant, someone with very strong IFRS 15 or ASC 606 experience
This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue reporting under US GAAP.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP
- Partner with finance, legal & sales to ensure alignment on revenue topics
- Review contracts to determine correct revenue recognition procedures
- Produce detailed Revenue recognition documents to support any audit queries related to revenue
- Support in the preparation of financial statements & disclosures related to revenue
- Support in the month end & quarter end close processes
- Ad hocASC 606 tasks
Ideal Candidate:
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Extensive ASC 606 or IFRS 15 experience
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- E-Commerce background would be advantageous
- Ability to work with finance & non-finance to provide specific revenue recognition support
