We are delighted to be working with a leading business working within the Energy space, who are seeking a Mechanical Technician for their site.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical machinery - including conducting bearing changes, replace large chains and renew sheared drive shaft
- All other maintenance on mechanical machinery
- Collaborate with onsite effectively - as well as gain familiarity with the plant and process
- Document all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inspection reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for compliance and future reference.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician/Mechanical Engineer
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and protocols governing electrical work in a facility, with a commitment to adhering to strict safety standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to a positive and safety-focused work environment.

This role will include a 4 weekly call-out rota with the requirement to be on call for 7 days at a time.
