Project: Severn Trent Water Treatment

Randstad is currently looking for a Site Manager to work with a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor on a Water Treatment scheme in Burton-on-Trent.

As a Site Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-profile Severn Trent Water scheme, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a pivotal role that requires excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage all on-site activities, from initial setup to project completion.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and support a diverse team of professionals and subcontractors.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets rigorous Severn Trent Water standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project life cycle.
