Chemistry Teacher
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Chemistry Teacher at a school in Guildford, Surrey. This is a mainstream secondary school with a strong science department. The school is going from strength to strength providing CPD throughout the year. This role would be teaching Chemistry up to GCSE.
The ideal candidate:
- Has a proven History to secure excellent pupil results in Science GCSE exams
- Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment
- Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils
- Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent (to be offered supply teaching work)
- Previous experience working in a UK school would be ideal
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
