Job Duties:
- Oversee all financial and management accountant of a regional finance team
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
Required Qualifications:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in a senior finance role
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years + of experience in finance management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Financial planning and analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and compliance
- Team management and development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Finance or related field
- Experience in the accounting industry
Working Conditions:
This role will be based in Blackburn, with occasional travel required.
