Join our dynamic team at Tradewind as we search for a dedicated Teacher of Social Science with a specialisation in Health and Social Care. We have an exciting opportunity available in a bustling Secondary Sixth Form school based in south Birmingham.

This outstanding secondary sixth form is seeking a skilled Health and Social Care teacher to provide full-time instruction for KS4 and KS5 students. The position commences in with immediate effect, full-time with permanent opportunities from the new year.

As the successful Health and Social Care Teacher, you will assume the full responsibilities of a a teacher including planning lessons, assessing student progress, and marking assignments. We offer highly competitive pay rates, ensuring that teachers are compensated according to the Main scale from day one of their supply role. After 12 weeks of supply, UPS payments will be made according to scale.

Our client south Birmingham secondary sixth form school has a Health and Social Care department that boasts a team of three dedicated staff members who consistently achieve excellent results at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. The subject is a popular option among students, with many choosing to pursue Health and Social Care-related studies at the university level. Students have the opportunity to undertake the Level 1 and 2 BTEC Tech Award at Key Stage 4, as well as the Level 3 BTEC National qualification at Key Stage 5.
