Area to be covered: West Midlands (minimum 3 days in Birmingham showroom)
Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000 + £15,000 commission
Benefits: negotiable car allowance & benefits package
The role of the Interior Designer - Furnishings will involve:
- Interior Designer role promoting furnishing and interior design solutions
- Including furniture, lighting and accessories
- Majority of your time will be spent selling to and influencing individuals of high net worth and property developers
- Getting involved with the buying team and working closely with the Buying Director across 7 stores
- Target circa £350-£500k depending on experience
- Get involved with in-house design service using SketchUP 3D
- Regular contact and visits to central Birmingham showroom
- Attending trade shows
The ideal applicant will be an Interior Designer - Furnishings with:
- Must have experience in the interior design market place
- Ideally be from a business development or sales focused position
- Experience in the buying sector advantageous
- Must have experience with design software; ideally SketchUP 3D
- Fire in the belly/ ability to open doors and "make things happen"
- Trustworthy, able to work autonomously
