An Accounts Receivable Assistant is needed for a temporary role in the accounting and finance team within a renowned FMCG company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and processing all transactions related to accounts receivable.

Description

  • Processing invoices and credit notes on a daily basis.
  • Allocating payments from customers to their respective accounts.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly account statements.
  • Cooperating with the sales team to ensure accurate customer billing.
  • Participating in the monthly closing of financial records.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer files.
  • Supporting other team members with ad-hoc duties as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:

  • A strong foundation in accounting and finance principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
