We have an exciting opportunity for a Area Sales Manager coveringthe South Westfor one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a large, growing and reputable manufacturer and supplier of construction equipment on a national and international scale. They are looking for someone to cover South West England including Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
Responsibilities of the Area Sales Manager
- Ensure products are included in key customer promotional campaigns.
- Train and develop programs for customers to ensure they understand the full benefits of their products.
- Involved in the development of new accounts to grow the number of stockists.
- Journey/call plan and maintain daily activity reports.
- Management of nominated accounts.
- Attend trade and consumer shows.
- Distribute brochures and point of sales.
- Merchandise machines.
- Competitor research and analysis.
Requirements for a successful Area Sales Manager
- Previous Sales Management experience in a similar industry.
- Target driven with a passion for sales.
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to build a rapport with people of all levels.
- Computer literate.
- Commercially astute.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Salary: £47,000 - £52,500 plus bonus and car
