Machine Operative / Manufacturing Assistant

Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Dorkng are looking to extend their team of operatives by introducing an additional team member to join their late shift on an ongoing temporary basis with a view to a possible permanent opportunity.

The successful candidate will need to live locally, have previous manufacturing and/or warehousing experience, good attention to detail and good communication skills.

Activities, Duties and Key Tasks

  • To operate moulding machines in accordance with the instructions provided by your supervisor or technician and the work ticket associated with the job that is running. This may include setting up of machines and troubleshooting problems, as requested.
  • To operate printing machines in accordance with the instructions provided by your supervisor or technician and the work ticket associated with the job that is running. This may include setting up of printers and troubleshooting problems, as requested.
  • To apply quality control requirements as directed and report problems as per SOP and as directed.
  • To complete finishing operations in accordance with the instructions provided by your supervisor or setter and the work ticket associated with the job that is provided.
  • To contribute to housekeeping as per process requirements.
  • Work targets must be met.
  • Quantity of work output must be met

The successful candidate will be required to work 4 days per week, Monday to Friday from 12pm-10pm
