We have a super opportunity here for an experienced Commercial Insurance placement broking professional with 3 years plus commercial experience to join the a boutique Lloyds Broker, with offices in Aldgate.
We were really impressed with what the Chief Executive here had to say about them as a business and the fantastic opportunity they can offer someone in this role and moving forward with them as a business. This is a critical hire for them, as you will be working closely with the CEO placing a wide range of risks into Lloyds.
They have the appetite to place pretty much anything, and their network means they have some really interesting international stuff that comes in (currently working on a large property scheme for Churches in Sweden, 2 large factories in Romania and some big med mal cases across Scandinavia)
You would handle the placement of risks for UK and International brokers across Scandinavia, the Middle East and Asia as well as North America, so must be a astute negotiator/trader and confident in your ability to go to market to find a home for a range of business.
We would love to hear from you if you have at least 3-5 years experience as a Placement Broker, and they are open on classes of business handled. They would also consider someone who has left the market looking for a return.
In return, the salary on offer is £55-75k, depending on experience and they offer 25 days holiday plus bank holidays to start, plus pension and bonuses.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. and they are ideally looking for someone who can do 4 days a week in the City, though may be some flexibility around this for the right person, though given the nature of the role, they do want someone who is ok being in the London office, due to the regularity with which you will be going into Lloyds to trade with Underwriters and networking.
