Hybrid Assistant Management Accountant

**About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant to join our team on a 3-month temporary basis. This hybrid role will be based in Edinburgh, offering a flexible work arrangement that combines in-office and remote work.

Working 17 - 20 hours per week, paid weekly via Valeco Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll: Provide essential support for payroll processing.
  • RDEC: Assist in the calculation and preparation of expenditure Credit
  • SAP BBD Phase 2 Project: Contribute to the successful implementation of the SAP BBD Phase 2 project.
  • Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Expense Management: Manage expense approvals and payments.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Provide coverage for AP invoice processing.
  • Purchase Order (PO) Management: Cover for PO management tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working at the level of an Assistant Management Accountant/Assistant Accountant.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
