Looking for a challenging role in HR? Look no further! We are seeking a proactive and engaging HR Adviser to join our team on a part-time basis.

As our HR Adviser, you will work collaboratively with other HR staff to provide consistent HR support to client departments and wider corporate initiatives. You will take the lead role in specific HR initiatives and areas of work such as Equality & Diversity, Information Governance, HR Information System, policy development as agreed with the Head of HR.

Your main responsibilities and duties include managing a caseload of HR activity, providing advice to Line Management on Conditions of Service, Policies, and statutory employment obligations, carrying out transactional HR administrative tasks, providing support and guidance to Line Managers to ensure that HR policies and procedures are implemented correctly, and updating HR related aspects of the company intranet site, online conditions of service, and staff policies.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also facilitate training in HR related topics and systems, monitor Occupational Health provision, control and maintain records, of kit and equipment that is returned, and destroyed, organise, monitor and report on placement of work experience students, skill seekers, modern apprentices and graduate recruits throughout departments, and lead on specified HR projects/areas of work and produce draft reports/statistical analysis as allocated by the Head of HR.

As our ideal candidate, you will have a detailed understanding of the challenges faced by teams and departments and be able to develop value-added services for them. You should also be conversant with the operation of the HR database and other HR systems in order to update and report on as required. You should be able to identify and propose areas where HR practices can be improved, proposing solutions and contribute to the development of e-HR within the Department and propose improvements to HR business processes.
