Main duties
- Improve process efficiencies and aid in process development through an understanding of process chemistry and issues affecting scale-up.
- Plan and implement effective laboratory work, co-ordinate, and review production trials.
- Propose modifications and troubleshooting to existing processes.
- Propose, design and introduce new processes in order to improve process efficiencies and support product development, taking into account cost analysis and safety implications.
Requirements
- Minimum graduate or equivalent in Chemistry.
- Experience in industrial research & development environment.
- Have a detailed knowledge of process' in a number of current plant processes.
