A leading international Law Firm is looking for an experienced IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Manager to lead their global IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery program, assessing potential risks and creating subsequent plans to mitigate these to ensure a rapid / seamless return of service to the firms' global operations in the event of a critical failure.
Along with a salary of up to £90,000 per annum, you will also receive a, a discretionary annual performance bonus (up to 15%), 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), Private healthcare, Life Assurance Cover, Company Pension, plus many more employee benefits! You will be working on a hybrid work pattern, Monday-Friday, with 1-3 days in the office and the remainder from home.
As an IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Manager you will primarily be responsible for:
- Managing the design, implementation and communication of plans, disaster recovery and processes.
- Ensuring that the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and associated procedures and supporting documentation are maintained, tested (annual test schedule to include technical recovery tests and tabletop exercises) and improved over time.
- Maintaining the risk register and assessing risks in relation to threats to the continuity of systems and services.
- Acting as subject matter expert for IT, including responses to client RFIs, RFPs and during internal and external audits.
- Developing a plan to accredit plans with a recognised standard such as ISO22301.
- Working with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop service level standards and agreements.
You will need to have:
- Substantial proven experience in an IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery role.
- Membership of BCI or DRII or a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP).
- Previous experience of IT risk assessment.
- Previous Business Analyst experience.
