Marketing Manager- 12 Months- London/Hybrid-£230-£280 PAYE

A global FinTech company are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment. The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving existing customer growth and retention. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with sales to develop, execute & report on marketing initiatives that drive engagement, as well as supporting our sales and service delivery teams to improve activation of accountant clients (B2B2B).

You will likely have a B2B marketing background and know how to effectively engage with existing customers to drive business growth. You will have excellent knowledge and experience in account based marketing, upsell and retention programmes, marketing automation tools (including propensity scoring models) and customer advocacy. With a focus on gaining deep customer insights, you will work to deliver amazing end-to-end experiences throughout the customer lifecycle in partnership with sales, service delivery, product, customer success and operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Team up with the UK Large Firm marketing lead and sales team to build and develop the existing customer growth strategy, which is grounded in customer insight and delivers against our business goals
  • Build and execute the account based marketing strategy and plan to deliver commercial results
  • Drive marketing campaigns that demonstrate the value of the products. This includes product education, product launch roll-outs, offer promotions and advocacy activations
  • Project manage marketing asset creation from ideation through to delivery, working with internal and agency partners
  • Be responsible for drafting a range of copy for lifecycle communications. Manage the creation and delivery of comms, and track results and learnings to inform future comms
  • Run webinars using Go to Webinar. Manage activities associated with webinars, including recruitment campaigns to drive sign ups, work with Sales Operations and Sales teams to support with the lead management process, and track attendance, conversion rates and customer feedback using surveys
  • Regularly conduct customer interviews and competitor analysis, and collate and cascade learnings across teams
  • Collaborate with marketing teams inc. events, PR, product marketing and acquisition, to ensure our customer communications calendar is leveraging our our most compelling content
  • Work closely with the social and sales teams to create customer case studies

Skills/ Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in driving lifecycle marketing initiatives and account based marketing campaigns in a B2B setting
  • Good knowledge across a range of channels and formats including email marketing, webinars, video, case studies, product demos, social, events and sales enablement
  • Experience in content creation and management (drafting copy and content for different channels and audiences, and briefing agencies to create and deliver content)
  • A strong partner for sales, working in lockstep to deliver ambitious performance goals
  • Superior command of CRM (SalesForce in particular) and marketing automation software and tools such as Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot, Marketo
  • Experience running webinars using a platform like Go To Webinar
  • Track record of working in cross functional partnerships (e.g. events, sales, product, customer success, analytics, martech)
  • Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment, adopting a rapid test and learn approach to build experiments and drive impact
  • Experience working in software/tech desired
