This role offers a chance to make a real difference in the lives of your clients, providing them with the support and advocacy they need during challenging times.
You will be working in the firm's complex injury claims team dealing with non-delegated, high value, multi-track claims, including assisting on multi-million pound brain and spinal injury, amputation and fatal claims.
This opportunity is with a respected and progressive legal practice with offices based throughout the UK, dedicated to providing exceptional representation across various practice areas. Their Catastrophic Injury team is known for its unwavering commitment to securing justice and compensation for individuals and families affected by life-altering injuries.
Experience of indemnity, liability and complex medical issues is preferred and excellent attention to detail essential. The role also includes the need to engage with sophisticated senior claims handlers in long-standing insurance clients. You will work as part of a team progressing each file from receipt of papers from the insurer client to resolution of the claim dealing with all aspects of liability and quantum as well as indemnity issues as they arise.
Another requirement of the role is, the successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor or CILEX with proven relevant legal experience in catastrophic injury and of managing large loss and/or catastrophic injury files. The candidate will be expected to be capable of either handling a case load of catastrophic injury cases with supervision or being able to assist at a very high level on catastrophic injury cases. Defendant experience is preferable but Claimant experience at a sufficient level of expertise and seniority will be considered.
