Locum Property Lawyer – South West – £60 per hour – Remote Working
Venn Group's specialist public sector legal team has partnered with a South West Local Authority based in the South West which is looking to appoint a Property Lawyer on a locum basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx) to join a well-established Local Authority team on a full time basis. Some regeneration experience is desirable but not essential.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing all aspects of commercial property matters related to asset portfolio management and commercial leases
- Managing and advising on the development, sale, lease, and other transactions involving public sector land holdings
- Providing expert advice on all aspects of local authority land transactions
- Overseeing the completion on various low and high profile and low and high value property matters
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards
- Offering strategic and practical advice to clients on property matters
- Developing effective solutions to complex property issues, ensuring client needs are met efficiently
This position is offered for an initial term of 3 months, An hourly umbrella rate of up to £60 is offered for this role.
