Paraplanner / Senior IFA Administrator
Location: Preston
Salary to around £30,000 plus Benefits
MBF Recruitment are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paraplanner to become part of a well-established, small IFA practice in Preston. If you have a strong background in the financial planning sector and a passion for delivering high-quality support, this could be the perfect role for you.
What We're Looking For: We're seeking a paraplanner with a minimum of two years of relevant experience within the financial services industry. You should have a solid understanding of financial products including pensions, investments, ISAs, and protection policies. Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage your own workload are essential. You should also be a collaborative team player, ready to support your colleagues when needed.
Experience drafting suitability reports is essential. Ideally, you'll be working towards or have already obtained your diploma qualification, with a desire for further professional growth.
Knowledge of Intelligent Office and Selectapension would be a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed, compliant suitability reports

Customize suitability letters to align with client needs

Organize and manage files for client meetings and handle ongoing business administration

Conduct product, provider, and fund research as needed

Support the administrative team during busy periods

Additional administrative duties, such as:

Submitting new business applications

Generating quotations

Liaising with providers and clients

Managing outstanding pipeline cases and fees
Ideal Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
Job Type:
- Full-time, Permanent - office based
- Salary: to £30,000 per year (dependent on experience)
- Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
