We are working with a large and well-respected secondary school in Watford to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Design Technology Teacher specialising in Resistant Materials. Role: Design Technology Teacher (Resistant Materials)
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Salary: £160-£250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2025
**About the Role
As the DT Teacher, you will:
- Teach Resistant Materials to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons that inspire creativity and innovation.
- Encourage students to develop their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Design and Technology department to share ideas and resources.
**The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Resistant Materials or a related DT specialism at the secondary level.
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the DT curriculum and the ability to teach practical skills effectively.
- Is passionate about inspiring students and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Can work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
