Data Analyst with significant insurance experience is required to join a vibrant and fast-growing division within a multinational insurance organisation. This is a pivotal role that will see you collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to develop critical KPIs and MI. The ideal candidate will have superb communication and organisation skills with the ability to balance a busy workload of projects unearthing requirements and helping deliver impactful change.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders to capture and analyse data needs from various source systems
- Understand, validate and design business requirements for data products including KPIs, definitions, visualisation and general look and feel
- Support the design of reports and dashboards that communicate key performance indicators and insights
- Present and consult in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences through wireframes and visualisation tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data analytics with business goals and objectives.
- Plan and prioritise requirements for delivery
- Support the visualisation of scenario analysis and provide insights into potential outcomes based on various factors.
- Support the Data Governance function in the develop and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures
- Participate in data quality and compliance audits as needed.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data solutions, including data dictionaries, business glossaries, process flows, and user guides.
Key skills and experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related Business discipline).
- Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of insurance concepts, underwriting principles, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication skill
- Proficient in analysing complex datasets to derive actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) desirable.
- Understanding of business processes and goals to align data analysis with business objectives.
- Knowledge of data cleansing and preprocessing techniques.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
