About the Role: We are seeking a personable and ambitious Venue Manager to oversee operations at for our client in Reading. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, ensuring compliance (with a particular focus on responsible gambling) and managing team schedules. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their management career who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to lead from the front.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service, addressing client needs and creating a welcoming environment.
- Manage compliance requirements, including responsible gambling practices.
- Organise and manage team rotas, ensuring proper staffing and shift coverage.
- Maintain operational standards, supporting and leading the team effectively.
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of the venue.

No night shifts; night shifts are covered by dedicated night managers.

Salary & Benefits:
- £35,000 per annum (flexible based on experience)
- Opportunity for performance-based bonuses after 6 to 12 months.
