Join this expanding, regional law firm in their office in Southampton. They are currently seeking a part time Administrative Assistant / Secretarial support.
Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive legal secretarial support as part of a wider support team comprising other legal secretaries, senior legal secretaries and legal admin assistants, to a team of Fee-earners
Through internal and external client service, teamwork, initiative, communication and self-management to act as an ambassador for the department and firm at all times.
This includes:
- Diary management
- File management
- Taking calls and client liaison
- Drafting documents
- Marketing and networking
- Assist with accounts
We are looking for someone with:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, research tools and other system implemented by the firm such as case management.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, legal processes, etc would be beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent telephone manner and competent knowledge of telephone system.
- Excellent communication, organisational and team skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible and dependable, able to take the initiative.
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic.
- Able to quickly build confidence, respect and trust with others
This role is part time, 21hrs spread across the week.
