Length - 12-month ongoing contract
The role is working from children's centres in Havering and visiting families, colleges, nurseries and schools, usually also in Havering. We do not working from home, as the role is an outreach front line worker role supporting vulnerable families who live in Havering.
Our ideal candidate would be:
- Experienced in delivering outreach whole family interventions in the community, supporting families with children aged 0-18
- A people's person, who is wanting to support vulnerable families in a respectful and non-judgemental way, taking into account their social graces
- Experienced in undertaking holistic whole family assessments taking in the family's history, the unmet needs now and also, identifying the families strengths and support systems, that leads to a supportive family plan to bring around positive changes for the family
- Someone who is organised, confident, with good IT skills, has a 'can do attitude' and can work effectively to deadlines whilst not compromising the quality of their work or interventions.
In return we offer 4-6 weekly 1-2-1 supervisions, 4-6 weekly case supervisions, a systemic, supportive 'door always open approach' and a friendly working environment with training available to agency staff that is available to permanent staff.
