TheONEGroup are proud to be partnering with a local innovative technology company, in the hunt for an Receptionist to join them at their Cambridgeshire based head office. Our client's product is supplied across the globe into a range of settings and their brand is infamous within their industry.

The need to know

  • Location: Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire (based on-site)

  • Hours: Monday-Friday
  • Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

The day to day
As the receptionist you'll be the first point contact for all visitors to our clients head office. You will need to be confident in your ability to deliver a high quality front of house service. Activities you will be responsible for include but not limited to:

  • Delivery of high quality front of house service, receiving visitors, including preparation of visitors & contractors badges prior to arrival based on visitors forms submitted in advance by employees.
  • Daily administration of the access control system, added new starters, making adjustments to existing access profiles for staff as and when requested, administration of leavers to the company on the system
  • Administration of Fleet car booking requests, driver DVLA checks and management of the authorised driver data base.
  • Ensuring adherence to security procedures for visitors, contractors and employees, assisting the Security Manager with employee DBS checks.
  • Processing requests for off-site archiving, arranging collection of boxes and managing existing archive boxes in line with disposal review dates.
  • Provide full range of administrative assistance to support the R&D Department. This includes ownership of departmental Purchase Orders.

About you
This position is really well suited to an individual who enjoys a clearly defined role with plenty of support around, perhaps you have previous experience working within a reception role but you'd like more exposure to facilities? Perhaps you've experience working within more hospitality front of house environment and now you'd like to move to an office setting?

  • MS Office Skills (essential)
  • Administration of access control system (essential)
  • Strong front of house and customer service experience.
  • Great organisational skills.
  • Highly accurate and having attention to detail is vital.
