We are looking for an Account Executive to join an award-winning, independent corporate insurance broker. This role will be to seek, develop and build a book of business in line with the company's desired industries and overall strategy, providing robust support and advice to clients, and achieving personal targets on a monthly basis. Working in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements including the FCA Conduct Rules at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing your book of clients, providing support and advice throughout the policy period
  • Responsible for organic growth of the book of business, in line with your personal target.
  • Ensure that your personal New Business target is met or exceeded each month.
  • Follow company procedures to ensure that clients are dealt with promptly.
  • Embrace and deliver a client-centric ethos throughout the business
  • Management of company data in line with procedures, keeping an accurate diary and building a healthy pipeline.
  • Respond to enquiries from clients and suppliers in a pro-active manner in line with company SLAs.
  • Complete the key "fact finding" task to identify clients' requirements and provide suitable quotations and solutions to fulfil their needs.
  • Deal with any actions attaching to existing clients on mid-term adjustments and claims, in line with SLAs.
  • Contact renewal clients in advance of renewal in line with company procedures.
  • Scrutinise quotation and renewal documentation received from insurers to ensure correct prior to issue, communicate all endorsements clearly ensuring they are fully understood.
  • Undertake 35 Hours (minimum) CPD per annum.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2 years minimum experience ideally but will take less with the right passion and attitude
  • Lead generation experience
  • Confidence to pick up the phone and create new business
