Adecco are proud to be working in partnership with an innovative and forward-thinking organisation to recruit a HR Advisor on a fixed term contract for 9-12 months.

Full time opportunity

Based in Essex with hybrid working available

Salary: circa £45,000k

The successful incumbent will work closely with the People team and leaders across the organisation to deliver first line generalist HR advice and support.

This is an exciting and varied role with the opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with the HR team in a wide range of areas including employee relations, reward, resourcing, end-to-end employee lifecycle and talent development.

Previous experience in a HR role providing first level HR advice is required along with a professional approach and the ability to build effective working relationships. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about HR to deliver a high-quality customer focused service and foster an innovate organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of an efficient first line generalist HR advisory service across the organisation, providing informed guidance and support on HR policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Manage your own caseload of employee relations, working proactively to coach, advise and support managers throughout the process.
  • Support with recruitment including the effective use of the e-recruitment system, evaluate job descriptions, provide advice to hiring managers on salary bandings and assist with onboarding of new starters.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Provide support with organisation development programmes, support planning, due diligence, and preparation of documents.
  • Carry out HR administrative tasks.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience of providing generalist HR advice and support within a similar environment.
  • Ability to develop excellent working relationships to provide support to a range of leaders and hiring managers across the organisation.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel and experience of producing reports and data analysis.
  • Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent HR experience.
  • CIPD part qualified or equivalent.
