A leading professional services business in Bristol is expanding its technology division with the goal of becoming the most innovative in the industry and seeking a DevOps Engineer with experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as part of this journey.
As a DevOps Engineer you will lead, monitor, and continuously improve the deployment processes, including establishing a robust CI/CD model. This DevOps Engineer position involves collaboration with multiple scrum teams to develop and optimize the deployment strategies, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of changes across the organization.
DevOps Engineer Essential Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps
- Experience with CI/CD and setting up pipelines from scratch using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Knowledge of with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform
DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines from development to production.
- Automation: Automate deployment processes to streamline software releases.
- Monitoring: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for application and infrastructure health.
- Infrastructure as Code: Manage infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Best Practices: Ensure security, scalability, and reliability in infrastructure.
- Tool Evaluation: Recommend new tools and technologies for DevOps improvement.
- Knowledge Sharing: Educate stakeholders on DevOps practices and tools.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
- Collaboration: Work with development partners to leverage capabilities.
- Feedback: Provide insightful feedback on system changes.
Due the nature of the role and the growing team, the DevOps engineer position will be required to work onsite twice a week with some flexibility for team collaboration days.
