Finance Manager - About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Managing Director,taking the sole responsibility of managing both transactional elements of finance but also producing the month-end accounts too.The business has multiple site locations, 2 of which are based in the UK, the others in Europe and the US. This position is working within a project billing environment and therefore would suit someone from either a professional services or project-based environment. Whilst this role will initially be a standaloneposition, this person will be tasked with building out the finance team as the client's footprint grows.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Full production of the management accounts and management reporting pack
- Point of contact for the annual audit - resolving any queries or questions relating to this
- Assisting the budget holders, including Directors, with the annual budget process and variance reporting
- Bank postings and payments and preparation of the cashflow forecasting
- Management of the UK payroll and company pension scheme
- Overseeing the AR and AP functions
- VAT submissions
The successful Finance Manager will have:
- A formal accounting qualification - ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent
- Aptitude to pick up new software platforms
