We are currently seeking a
Highways Supervisor
to deliver works in Hertfordshire on behalf of our client, a main contractor within Highways Maintenance.
The
Highways Supervisor
will be responsible for delivering Planned works across Herts, managing workforce and sub contractors.
The company are happy to see applicants who may have had little supervisory experience previously. So whether you're a seasoned Supervisor or not, it would be worth a discussion!
Responsibilities for Highways Supervisor
- Site supervision
- Site measurement
- Produce CDM construction phase plans then ensure all safety procedures carried out on site.
- Ordering of plant and materials on daily basis
- Undertake site inspections/inductions prior to work starting.
- Assist in preparation of weekly cost and value reports.
- Maintain site diary.
- Manage subcontractors on site.
- Provide ECI to client/designer.
- Produce and adhere to works programme.
- Actively foster a positive staff morale
- Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management.
Education & Certification for Highways Supervisor
- Full UK driving license is ESSENTIAL
- HNC or NVQ equivalent.
- SSSTS/SMSTS, IOSH or similar.
- NRSWA
- Driving Licence
