We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to handle all payroll related tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance in a timely manner. This role is key in the accounting and finance department, supporting the team in the property industry.

Description
- Responsible for the timely and accurate competition of weekly and monthly payroll for up to 200 employees.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll data.
- Resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare payroll reports for management.
- Coordinate with HR for any changes in payroll.
- Adhere to payroll policies and procedures.
- Update payroll records by entering any changes to employee pay, job title and department/division transfers.
- Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information.
- Support with year-end and interim audits.
Profile
A successful Payroll clerk should have:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work at peak periods
- Positive, problem solving and can-do attitude.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Working knowledge of payroll software.
- Sage 50 experience would be beneficial.
