Job Title: Supported Living Service Manager (Mental Health)
Location: Based in Coventry, overseeing 6 single tenancies across the West Midlands.
Salary: £37,000 - £45,000

Job Purpose: To provide effective leadership and management of Supported Living services for individuals with mental health needs. The Service Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support in compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living services, ensuring high-quality care and support delivery.
- Develop and implement person-centred support plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Team Management:
- Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team of support workers.
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
- Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Address staff concerns and grievances in a timely and appropriate manner.
Financial Management:
- Manage the service budget effectively and efficiently.
- Monitor income and expenditure and ensure financial compliance.
- Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance systems and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
External Relationships:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including commissioners, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
- Represent the organisation at relevant meetings and forums.
Safeguarding:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of service users.
- Respond to and investigate safeguarding concerns in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Person Specification:
- Essential qualifications in health and social care or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing Supported Living services for individuals with mental health needs.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
