Senior PMO Analyst / Programmes Analyst

A renowned aerospace / engineering organisation in Uxbridge, West London requires a Senior PMO Analyst / Business Analyst, with data warehousing skills, responsible for developing, maintaining and controlling the processes and systems required to record / report on project status updates.

Working with various stakeholders across the organisation, you'll undertake detailed financial analysis of projects using internal systems (Planisware and SAP), ensuring that project plans achieve company financial targets. You'll liaise with Programme Managers and the finance team relating to project and cost reports.

The role operates on a hybrid working basis - 2 days / week working from home.

Key responsibilities - Senior PMO Analyst

  • Perform cost tracking and prepare reports to support project updates, audits and invoicing.
  • Create project system reports including cost analysis, baseline and variance analysis.
  • Complete data analysis to cover Earned Value Management (EVP), trends, completion costs and contribution reporting.
  • Conduct and set standardised reports using new resources and tools, through enterprise systems and project reporting technologies.
  • Drive process improvements and system upgrades, understanding system integration points, and generating suitable revenue tracking policies, analysis and reporting mechanisms.
  • Use data warehouse tools - Power BI - for project planning, tracking and decision making.

Skills & experience - Senior PMO Analyst

  • Experienced PMO / BA / Programmes Analyst possessing a good understanding of Data warehouse tools, Power BI, Power Query, MS Excel (advanced level) and using such skills with project planning experience. Experience of SAP and SharePoint systems would be advantageous.
  • Prior experience in either the Defence or Aerospace Engineering sector.
  • Demonstrated experience of Portfolio Project Cost reporting, proficiency in planning software skills and packages.
  • Methodical problem solving skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others.
