Description
- Processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.
- Maintaining vendor files.
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Serving as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
- Performing other accounting duties and supporting the Finance Department as required.
Profile
A successful 'Accounts Payable Assistant' should have:
- A relevant degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in numerical tasks.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
