Description

  • Processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.
  • Maintaining vendor files.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Serving as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting the Finance Department as required.

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Payable Assistant' should have:

  • A relevant degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular focus on Excel.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in numerical tasks.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
