The Role (Computer Science Teacher):
- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across all key stages, including the Sixth Form.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their potential.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, and contribute to the wider school community.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is completing a PGCE in Computer Science or a related field.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for teaching and a deep understanding of computer science concepts.
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Shows a commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
- Has or is willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS plus Children's Barred List Check.
