Cover Supervisor

Are you an organised and confident individual with a passion for education? We are seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in the London Borough of Southwark. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people or potentially considering a career in teaching and is looking for a rewarding position within education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students stay on task and engage with the pre-prepared work.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, creating a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver instructions and activities to students across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity in their learning during teacher absence.
  • Report back to the teaching staff on any issues, student progress, or behaviour during the lesson.

Requirements:
