This role also includes purchase ledger responsibilities and credit control.

The Finance & Payroll Assistant Role:

  • You will play a crucial role in managing our payroll processes, leveraging your expertise with Sage software to ensure accurate Tax and NI deductions.
  • Your meticulous attention to detail will be essential as you review and process invoices, address any discrepancies, and facilitate timely payments from suppliers.
  • Beyond core payroll duties, you'll take on the responsibility of conducting credit checks on potential clients and partners. This dynamic position also involves providing key support for various finance-related business operations, offering you the opportunity to contribute broadly to the finance team's success.

Finance and Payroll Assistant - Essential Skills:

  • Computer literate (use of Microsoft Office)
  • Efficient and driven, with a proven track record of delivering results under pressure and meeting time-sensitive objectives
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Payroll qualifications are advantageous
