Contract Type: Permanent/ Full time
Shift Pattern: 38 Hours - 07.00 to 15.30 Monday to Thursday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and 07.00 – 13.00 Friday
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000.00
Role Accountabilities:
- Work closely with the Planner & Manufacturing Manager to maximise performance to the agreed SIOP Plan
- Ensure on time launch of WIP and associated documentation is achieved on a daily basis to enable the SIOP plan to be executed on time
- Fully understand and embed the "operating rules" for launching. Escalating any requests outside of the Operating rules to the Planner.
- Identify where other functions are preventing on time launch to be achieved, ensuring that both Containment and Improvement Actions are in place to remedy the situation in the relevant forums/meetings (Daily Operations Meetings, Standard Diary Meeting etc)
- Support the Planning/Despatch function with the following Production administration activities
- Work-to-List generation
- KPI Generation
- Split Offs
- Creation of Documentation packs for despatch of parts
- Updating of Day plans
- Updating of SOP
- Updating of Packaging Matrix
Person Specification:
- Planning experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Good time management.
- Ability to work to tight and ever-changing deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Accuracy in reporting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to communicate with all key stake holders.
- Ability to change workload priorities without compromising agreed service levels.
- MRP/ERP experience.
- Advanced EXCEL skills
