My client is looking for a talented Compliance Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Suitable candidates will be available on short notice and have previous experience working in a regulatory compliance role.

Description

  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, review, and ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and standards, including FCA guidelines, AML, KYC, and GDPR.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them, ensuring the company remains compliant with evolving regulations.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct regular compliance audits, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Training & Support: Deliver compliance training to staff across the organisation and provide ongoing support to ensure understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders on compliance-related matters.

Profile

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Compliance Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably within a FinTech environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK financial regulations, including FCA, AML, KYC, and GDPR.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks, and make sound recommendations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly and concisely.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Hybrid Working: Comfortable with a hybrid working model, combining both in-office and remote work.
