Pay: £14.53per hour + Holiday

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our client based in Nottinghamshire. The role is for 6 months with potential extension for the right candidate.

The Recruitment Advisor will provide guidance and support to hiring managers at the organisation on employment and recruitment issues ensuring that decision making is consistent with current employment legislation and best practice.

The duties of the Recruitment Adviser include:

  • Creating and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships, communicating verbally, face to face, via the telephone, electronically and in writing
  • Dealing with external agencies including, payroll providers and occupational health
  • The ability to deliver recruitment drives within the given time scales, develop the pool base, and evaluate
  • Providing objective and constructive feedback recruiting managers at all levels
  • Providing recruitment advice to staff throughout the organisation, including hiring managers
  • Providing recruitment advice to external candidates (members of the public).
  • Identifying any issues within designated area and to resolve or escalate to the Recruitment Services Manager if required
  • Assisting in conducting compliance with pre-employment checks
  • Creating reports from collecting and analysing the data from different source

The Recruitment Advisor will ideally have:

  • Experience within a public sector organisation
  • Experience in a similar role
  • CMI in Recruitment and selection Level 5 or CIPD Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of recruitment law
  • Experience in using recruitment management systems

The Recruitment Advisor will need to have excellent communication skills and effectively be able to communicate to stakeholders of all levels. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have an impeccable eye for detail and accuracy to ensure all workload is carried out effectively and efficiently. They will also need to able to prioritise their workload and be efficient and effective to meet unpredictable deadlines and deal with conflicting demands, whilst working in a high-pressured environment.
