Summary

***Internal Applications Only Please***

The Welcome and Service manual is an essential reference guide for our Welcome Teams. It covers all things membership, service, fundraising, admissions, access and more.

This role is a 5-month internal secondment dependent on approval from your substantive hiring manager, and will primarily look after the development and delivery of the Welcome & Service Manual. You'll create an informative, engaging and user-friendly guide that is pivotal to the work of our welcome and service teams.

What it's like to work here

You'll be joining our Supporter Recruitment team, who are responsible for bringing in half a million memberships each year. You will have a pivotal role in a key element of our work and will be included in lots of exciting projects as well as leading on the Welcome & Service Manual project. This is a great development opportunity for someone looking to join our Heelis team.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office approximately once per month. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location (options are available across our estate) for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.

What you'll be doing

You'll be evaluating the previous year's manual based on feedback and internal reviews. You'll create our 'New Developments' document which logs all the changes to membership and recruitment each year. You'll liaise with and select suppliers to produce the document.

You'll facilitate the design and formatting process. You'll pull together a variety of people to create content, and then collate and order as appropriate.

You'll be responsible for creating a great piece of work, from conception to development, all the way through to completion.

  • An eye for creativity and design, able to make suggestions and draw conclusions from information gathered
