A travel company based in Central London are looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join their growing team.

The role of the Business Travel Consultant is to provide clients with fast, responsive and professional business travel services and support from initial enquiry to the completed trip. You will be confident in delivering solutions for both travel and ancillary services and be proficient in all ticketing processes.

Senior Travel Consultant Job Specification:

  • Dealing with enquiries including itineraries received by phone or email from start to finish including flights, accommodation, car hire, rail and ancillaries.
  • Ensure all individual and team KPIs are consistently met.
  • Provide quotes, book, issue tickets and reissue tickets for all fares worldwide (including published fares, nett fares, CAT35 fare, route deals), as well as refunds using Amadeus GDS.
  • Manage queues and issue tickets prior to deadline, as well as handle schedule changes from airlines and amend itineraries according to clients' changes.
  • Ensure all company and traveller profiles are updated and that profile and policy changes are updated and Quality Control Scripts amended.
  • Proactively maintain and develop relationships with clients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest travel technology and recommend solutions to streamline and improve efficiency and the overall client experience.
  • Providing solutions and advice to clients in an efficient and professional manner delivering a premium quality, ruthlessly efficient service experience that is both consistent and reliable.

Sales Manager Requirements

  • Travel experience is mandatory for this role.
  • To have Amadeus experience is essential for this role.
  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to multi-task, prioritise and respond quickly to the needs of the clients or business.
  • Knowledge of international travel products, geography and current affairs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • To be organised and have attention to detail.
