Role Overview

You will be part of the Leadership Team of Changing Lives Together where your opinion counts, we are an organisation with a flat structure, we don't do Politics and Bureaucracy. The people who need our help need it now, so we are agile, fast on our feet and we are one team, with a plan to make the world a better place.

The role will be responsible for supporting the Management Team who lead over 83 employees and 100 plus volunteers across our sites. We operate as both a Social Enterprise and Charity, delivering multiple complex service offerings directly to customers and clients as well as Local Authorities.

We are totally flexible with start and finish times, tell us what will work for you, we don't do much WFH due to the nature of what we do but we understand you may need to juggle family commitments around the role,but we would like you to be on site at least 4 days a week.

Main Responsibilities and duties:

  • Provide full 365 degree HR Admin support across recruitment, selection, maintenance of our SAGE HR system and drafting / issuing Employment Contracts and variation to terms and conditions of employment.
  • Co-ordinate training, Health & Safety and learning across the Charity. Update training, Health & Safety records and take responsibility for maintaining training records, sending reminders and updates.
  • Provide reports on all areas of HR, Payroll and Learning and Development, including the application of Employment Law, HR policy, best practice and workforce development.
  • Extensive experience in Sage HR and able to maintain the SAGE HR system and update all HR and personnel records.
  • Advise and strategise on the development of effective employment policies across the company.
  • Provide professional leadership, support and development to HR staff, in order to increase knowledge, share best practice and to ensure that relevant professional standards are met.
  • With help from the CEO, manage the execution of the HR Strategy and core areas of the HR Department including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, Reward and Recognition, as well as maintaining and improving HR systems and management of the HR budget.
  • With the help of the CEO, drive the continuous improvement agenda with focus on Engagement & Welfare activities, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability.
  • Take a lead role in transforming and strengthening the organisational culture, ensuring that our mission & values are at the forefront of all decisions.
  • With the help of the CEO, execute a plan for Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion that aligns with our values, strategy and commitments.
