About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Waste Manager to cover maternity leave for 7 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both the office and operational teams to ensure that the commercial waste services are run efficiently and to a high standard. You will play a key role in income generation by developing and implementing new commercial waste and recycling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial waste team, including a Sales Support Officer and three Business Waste Administrators.
- Develop and promote commercial waste and recycling services to maximize revenue.
- Manage the introduction of a new food waste business and ensure its successful implementation.
- Act as the account manager for new and existing clients, ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Oversee complaints, inquiries, and ensure compliance with performance targets.
- Liaise with the operational waste and recycling team to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Drive business development through contract management, client negotiation, and project planning.
