Junior Marketing Analyst

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to deliver cross functional support to the Planning & Insight Team across the entire client base, to support the Client Services Dept with the efficient delivery of Marketing Advertising Campaigns. We are not looking for a data processer, but someone who has the skills to manipulate data but also provide insight and recommendations, able to think outside the box and have a passion for telling the data story. This includes:

  • Planning - Utilising various tools and techniques that are available to profile and produce a targeted audience for the marketing campaign. Includes mapping using GIS Software (training given).
  • Reporting and Analysis - Provide regular campaign performance reports and analyse data to provide insightful recommendations. Includes producing presentations on campaign performance showing trends, analysis, learnings and actionable recommendations.
  • Cross Functional Support - Provide support to the wider client services department when needed. Includes providing presentations with market insights, bookings schedules etc to support them with new client pitches.

About You:

We are looking for a someone who has an interest in data and marketing with a drive to want to understand how it can be used to make business decisions. Thinking outside the box whilst utilising the tools available to you. Skills and attributes required include:

  • Strong evaluation and analytical skills - able to analyse and interpret data and results logically, spot trends, make inferences, contrast and compare results, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Attention to detail - able to work to a high degree of accuracy when preparing all documents and reports.
  • Time management & organisation - capable of managing multiple tasks effectively, managing projects and achieving deadlines.
  • Communication - good verbal and written communication skills along with ability to set realistic expectations on all work.
  • Proactive problem solving - propose solutions to problems and action them.
  • Strong team player.
  • Educated to Degree level - ideally marketing, business, data focussed.
